Manor House Café Southall UB2

This project consisted of the conversion of an old Tudor public toilet block situated on The Green in Southall into a bespoke Café incorporating a glazed timber Glulam framed extension which was designed to blend with the traditional Tudor style timbers of the original building.

The design of the Glulam beams in the new extension posed a number of difficulties struturally to ensure stablity and minimal controlled movement of the portal type structure. Working closely with the design team, Texo formulated methodoligy to fabricate and erect the structure and install the glazing to provide the desired effect.
